As part of my Fiber Arts class at UHCL, we have to design and stitch a needlework project. I wanted to combine my love of Hardanger Lace and Ukrainian Easter Eggs so was thinking I'd do the egg in the center with French Knots and surrounded by Hardanger and maybe some silk ribbon and bead, or maybe not. This is my initial sketch done in Paint Shop Pro 9.
