Went with a worsted weight yarn in bright colors and made two each of the yellow, pink, green, and orange blocks and one in blue with a diagonal design. I stitched two sets of four blocks together then tacked the blue on top of the top set. Next, I stitched the two panels together. The next step is to crochet a purse strap, add a lining and some sort of closure at the top.
