| The following items are things that just might
help with few problems in Poser Pro Pack. I've gleaned them from a couple of
places on the web, plus personal experience, credits listed under each one.
If you have any to add, please let me know.

| MAT Pose files |
Some MAT pose files may not apply properly to figures in
the Pro Pack. This is a combination of a missing line in the MAT pose file
and that Pro Pack needs to see this line in order to apply the MAT pose
files properly. |
|
To fix this, open the .pz2 file for the MAT pose in a text
editor and locate the first reference to a jpeg, tiff, or bmp file. The line
under each reference should be '00'. If not, copy it from one that has it
and paste it there. |
| In this image, the first arrow shows the
texture map line with the correct '00' line following it, then the
transparency map line which is missing the '00' line:
 |
| In this image, I've copied the line from the
first instance and pasted it under the second instance:
 |
|
Continue doing this until all instances calling out images
have the '00' line under it. Save the file and it should now work properly.
Lines that have 'NO_MAP' do not need this added to it.

| Magnets: |
When working with magnets in Pro Pack, you'll have to finish
everything you are doing in one sitting and spawn the morphs before exiting
the program. If you don't, then the magnets will revert to their default
settings and you'll have to start all over if you didn't write down all your
settings prior to exiting. I've tried memorizing the figure and saving it to
the library, all to no avail.

| file error - i/o bad media |
This error occurs most for PC Pro Pack/Bryce 5 users, although occasionally
it shows up
for PC Poser 4/Bryce 5 users and every so often for Bryce 4 users. The error comes up when importing an exported obj file
from Poser into Bryce. There are a couple of things to try in order to fix
this. |
| Edit the .obj file: |
Open the offending obj file in a text editor. Do a search for '#IND'

If you find any, Replace All with a space character or a zero
(0):

(some modeling programs may not like the space, if not, use the zero)
If
you don't find any, skip down to the next option.
The lines should now look like this if you used the space character:

Or like this if you used the zero character:

Save the obj file and import into Bryce.

Zero fix instead of space: Dan Wilmes (some programs may misinterpret the
space as a 2D vertex instead of 3D vertex) |
| Run through UVMapper: |
Open the obj file in UVMapper, export out using the default settings. You
can save over the original obj file or rename it if you like. Import the obj
file into Bryce to see if it works. If it does, you'll have lost all your
texture settings, but hey, it's imported. Or you can continue on and run
it through Grouper and keep the textures.

| Run through Grouper: |
Run the obj file through Grouper, saving out again using the default name.
Rename the .mtl by adding a _g to it to match the new obj file name from
Grouper. Import the obj file into Bryce. Credit: ZeroBase at Renderosity Poser Forum |

If you are using subdividing body textures, like those used with Anton's
Adventurer's Outfits, you'll need to adjust the groups in Grouper prior to
exporting, or the textures won't apply the way you want them to. |
