Open PSP8.

Choose File : New from
the menu and accept default size, etc., click on OK.

Choose File : Script :
Start Recording from the menu.

Press <Ctrl-c>

Choose Edit : Copy from the menu.

Choose File : Script : Save
Recording from the menu.

Enter "UVMapper Pro No Layers"
in the File name field and click on OK.

Choose Layer : New Layer
from the menu.

Press <Ctrl-Shift-c>
or
Choose Edit : Copy Merged from the menu.

Choose File : Save Script
from the menu.

Enter "UVMapper Pro Layers" in
the File name field and click on OK.

Close the blank image file
without saving.

Open UVMapper and adjust the
window so that when it overlays PSP it won't be in the way. Select View
: Always on Top from the menu then Texture : Auto Update from
the menu.

Load a 3D model into UVMapper
Pro, select View : Show Model from the menu.

Load a texture map into PSP.

If the file being loaded has
only one layer, choose File : Run Script from the menu, select the
"UVMapper Pro No Layers" script, and click on OK.

The texture map will be copied
to UVMapper Pro and displayed on the model in the preview.

If the file being loaded has
more than one layer, choose File : Run Script from the menu, select
the "UVMapper Pro Layers" script, and click on OK.

The texture map will be copied
to UVMapper Pro and displayed on the model in the preview.

After working on the texture
map for a while, you can update the UVMapper preview window the same way:
